Itchy

I told you how hard core the kids' soccer practice is in the rain. Yesterday's practice was hard core in an entirely different way.

I managed to get my SugarHoneyIcedTea together well enough to take the boys to soccer after missing last week because I was too busy packing for our move (which went very well, thank you for asking). I took a blanket and sat in the grass, periodically handing out drinks, snacks and hugs, while Monkey played soccer and Buddy ran around with his friends, climbing trees and frolicking on the play structure.

My hay fever was acting up making my face and neck itch and my nose and eyes run. I tried not to scratch or sniffle too much because I didn't want people to think I was weird.

Then I noticed a tickle on my chest. I pulled my shirt out and glanced down at my breasts. There was a bug running around in my bra. Gah!

A bug.

In my bra.

I hate bugs.

I panicked a bit, reached down my shirt and slapped at it until I was satisfied it was either dead or gone.

I sighed with relief and looked up to notice some parents and kids were walking past my blanket looking at me warily out of the corner of their eyes.

It suddenly dawned on me that I'd been sitting there with my hand down my shirt slapping my breasts.

So much for appearing normal.

OHMYGOSH!!! Tears are streaming down my face right now!!! What a way to wake up this morning!

I have really bad allergies, including grass, so I feel your pain. I had those allergy shots for years and have tried every prescription and OTC med out there. Nothing works and nothing helps. So the beginning of spring and fall I try to not go out much.

Hugs!

Hey, you did what any normal gal would do if she found a bug invading her chesticles. I may have riped off my shirt and bra and ran around screaming.

LOL See you're just as normal as the rest of us. Just did something similar. My bra rode up when my son hugged me tight. Didn't feel funny at the time.

Comin' in from SITS! Congrats on being featured yesterday!

Yeah well, you fed them so it's all good.

I hate to say it, but I've been there myself. Except I didn't hand out treats for the show. ;)

LMAO - you gave me a flashback to when we had a swarm of termites flying at night. I took our dog out for a walk and the bugs came after us! We ran back into the house. I'm shaking my cloths and hair and the bugs are still there. I find one in my bra - and that's it - all cloths are off and in the shower I go. My husband laughed his rear off.

Oh crap..I hate getting a bug in the cleavage! your fellow spectators should be thankful you remained that calm and didn't rip off your shirt. Which I probably would have done.

LOL! Thanks for the morning chuckle. As a 38 DDD, myself, I feel your pain. I'm amazed at what can get "caught" down there. =)

I'm a little "tardy" on my SITS reads this week. I look forward to browsing your blog. SO many people said it's worth the time. I can't wait!!!
