Buddy, Hubby and MonkeyBuddy is 6 years old. He's a laid back guy with a big heart. When he grows up, he wants to be a rock star, or an astronaut, or "one of those guys who digs up dinosaur bones." He loves sledding, books, and video games.
Monkey is 3 years old. He is funny, outgoing and loud. When he grows up he wants to be Superman, or Flash, or a tiger. He loves drawing, stuffed animals, and singing.
Hubby is a great friend, a wonderful father, but a terrible househusband (seriously, where can a girl get good help these days?).

I love your blog name! Your family is adorable and your post in the "motherhood" category titled "slowly going crazy" is one I can completely relate to. I've actually had similar thoughts when reading Farmer Boy and books from that era. My kids are always seen and heard at full volume.

I guess we're all pretty reluctant at heart! I mean, who really WANTS to clean the oven, right? I consider housework a necessary evil!

Your expression looks like you just turned on the oven without looking inside first...at least, that's what I would look like if I'd just turned on the oven and then started smelling the melting plastic of the bowl of leftover muffins I had put in there for safe-keeping. Not that I would ever actually DO that. Never. I'm much too detail-oriented for that! HA!
